Masculine Fertility Protection

Sperm can be frozen prior to the treatment cycle in cases where harvesting difficulties are predicted on the day of follicular puncture or in some oligoastenozoospermia situations.

Patients with oncological pathology who will undergo pelvic chemotherapy or radiation therapy should do prior freezing of sperm in order to preserve the fertility that may be affected after such treatments.

Defrosting can affect spermatozoa quality. This change will be even more pronounced the worse their characteristics at the moment of freezing.
