The CLINIMER, Center for Reproductive Medicine, concerned with the protection of fertility in the younger generation, has developed the “Education for Fertility” initiative.
Infertility affects about 15% of the Portuguese population, with a growing social and economic burden. Having Fertility Protection mission in mind, the “Education for Fertility” initiative promotes a series of actions to raise awareness among young people concerning attitudes and behaviours that may endanger their reproductive health and to help them develop skills that will allow them to make informed and safe choices.
Providing lectures in schools of formative nature, for the 9th and 12th grades, as well as visits to the laboratory facilities of the clinic for the 12th grade, the initiative aims to inform and alert students about infertility and also establish a connection with the area of Reproductive Medicine, throughout the contact with the reality of the laboratorial world.
CLINIMER, as a center for the study and treatment of infertility, assumes its responsibility in Health Education. Join us on this mission to Protect Fertility and help us promote this project! The future depends on us!
