The CLINIMER was originated from a team with extensive professional experience, qualified to perform the study and treatment of infertility, as all Gynecologists who collaborate with the clinic are holders of the sub-specialty in Reproduction Medicine, attributed by the Medical College of Physicians.
The integration of CLINIMER at Centro Cirúrgico de Coimbra allows the clinic to benefit from close collaboration with colleagues from other medical and surgical specialties, thus extending the healthcare offer to our patients. This further allows us to practice a multidisciplinary medicine centered in the patient, having as ultimate objectives the convenient, effectiveness and integrated solution for the patient’s problems and concerns.
The clinic first started its medical activity in November 2008, with the opening of the Laboratory of Andrology, destined to perform intrauterine inseminations. The IVF laboratory, as well as the cryopreservation by vitrification services, began operating in January 2009.
CLINIMER has been certified by NP EN ISO 9001: 2008 since March 2010, and the oocyte donation program had its beginning in 2015.
Mission
Clinimer, as a Reproduction Medicine Center, has the main objective to actively respond to couples with fertility problems, as well as women that need to access Medically Assisted Procreation (MPA) in order to have children, providing a personalised service throughout the study stage and an excellence clinical follow-up during treatment. It has a multidisciplinary team focused on understanding the needs of the couples and meeting their expectations. In the field of Medically Assisted Procreation, we standout by making use of the best clinical techniques and protocols, safety of our users and excellence in every aspect of our activity.
Vision
We aim to be a reference organization of Medically Assisted Procreation, recognized nationally by couples seeking treatment for infertility and users who need these techniques to obtain a pregnancy, providing an efficient response and with satisfactory results. We will continually reinforce the image of credibility with the general public, the confidence of those who use our name and the unquestionable ethical attitude that we have accustomed our partners to.

The Quality Management System of CLINIMER is implemented under the “Study and treatment of infertility; processing of ART techniques – IIU, IVF and ICSI; cryopreservation of gametes and embryos “.
