The CLINIMER is a new unit for Fertility studies of CLINIMER’s organisational structure, operating as a fully authorised center for the practice of Assisted Reproductive Techniques (ARt) since 2008.
The center has a team of certified, trained and very experienced professionals in the diagnosis and treatment of infertility, making it unique at Portugal Center Region. It is integrated at Centro Cirúrgico de Coimbra healthcare unit, allowing full access to high quality professionals and equipment for the optimal healthcare providing services.
Helping couples with reproductive challenges is the main goal of our professionals at CLINIMER. Each clinical case is individually addressed and monitored by the team at all stages of the process. The center offers those who seeks it an array of services and healthcare services adapted to all personal frameworks, in accordance with the legal framework for Medically Assisted Procreation.
The wellbeing, comfort and fully personalised service provided to our patients is at the very core of the existence of CLINIMER as a healthcare unit specialised in Gynaecology, Obstetrics and Reproductive Medicine.
CLINIMER is also concerned with Infertility Prevention and the Promotion of Reproductive Health amongst the youth population.
Our Mission
Clinimer, as a Reproduction Medicine Center, has the main objective to actively respond to couples with fertility problems, as well as women that need to access Medically Assisted Procreation (MPA) in order to have children, providing a personalised service throughout the study stage and an excellence clinical follow-up during treatment.
It has a multidisciplinary team focused on understanding the needs of the couples and meeting their expectations. In the field of Medically Assisted Procreation, we standout by making use of the best clinical techniques and protocols, safety of our users and excellence in every aspect of our activity. Moreover, we take responsibility over the educational mission for infertility prevention with close proximity the young population.
Our Vision
We aim to be a referenced organisation of Medically Assisted Procreation, recognised nationally by couples seeking treatment for infertility and users who need these techniques to obtain a pregnancy, providing an efficient response and with satisfactory results. We will continually reinforce the image of credibility with the general public, the confidence of those who use our name and the unquestionable ethical attitude with which we have accustomed our partners to.
The CLINIMER facilities fully comply with the Regulatory Decree nº 5/2008.
The Quality Management System of CLINIMER is implemented under the “Study and treatment of the infertile couple; processing of PMA techniques – IIU, IVF and ICSI; cryopreservation of gametes and embryos “.
